At FMCS, we provide client-centered prevention and support services that promote whole-person health so you can live your best life. Our services include:
Our services are available at our community health centers in Washington, D.C. and Prince George’s County, MD, and through our three community-based mobile units.
Hepatitis C, HIV, & STD Services
If you are living or at risk of Hepatitis C, HIV, or other STDs, FMCS offers a comprehensive list of services and resources to support you, including:
- Red Carpet Services
Our Red Carpet Services provide immediate connection to medical care and treatment services for individuals newly diagnosed with HIV.
- PrEP & PEP Counseling
PrEP & PEP Counseling are available for individuals at high risk of contracting HIV through sexual behavior or injectable drug use.
PrEP is a preventive medication that is taken regularly to lower the chance of contracting HIV. When taken as prescribed, PrEP can reduce the risk of contracting HIV by up to 99%.
PEP is an emergency medication that must be taken within 72 hours after a possible HIV exposure. PEP is only for emergency situations and should not be taken regularly.

Community Resources
At FMCS, our empathetic team offers the following community resources to eligible participants:
- Food Bank
Our Food Bank provides supplemental groceries to community members, including refrigerated and frozen items, pantry staples, and fresh produce.

- Nutrition Services
Our Nutrition Services provides nutrition assessment, education, and counseling for adult and pediatric patients.
